We have been visiting this restaurant for nearly ten years now and it has consistently lived up to expectations. This is a restaurant for fish lovers ( meat lovers and vegetarians might not be quite so impressed), it's dishes are simple but they always use exceptional quality ingredients; even the accompanying salad is made up of items that sing. And the fish...superb! The little fried fish for starters are incredible and also make an excellent lunch. The setting is also perfect: on the beach, facing the ever changing Atlantic in full view of the sunset. The service is friendly, helpful, very efficient and the restaurant is always spotless. There is an outside area which is particularly good for lunch times.Definitely my most favourite fish restaurant!

Among other things, we ordered the fish and seafood cataplana for two pax. It easily is enough food for 4 people. Came with a few sorts of fish, shrimp and clams. Most dishes in this area of Portugal are seasoned with vinagre. This cataplana has a slight vinagre taste, uncommon to other cataplanas in the Country. The vinagre offers a nice counterpoint to the taste of the fish.
